Discover the far north with Interrail

The countries of the European north are a place of longing for countless German people. Who wouldn’t want to experience the Northern Lights, experience the Arctic Circle, see moose and explore the culture of Scandinavia? – Scandinavia can be traveled comfortably and inexpensively with Interrail.

On the road with perhaps the most romantic railroads in Europe

Traveling by train Norway is certainly one of the most romantic ways to move: Along the fjords and the famous route “Hurtigruten” you travel towards the North Cape and the Eternal Ice. With a Global Pass from Interrail, this can be done inexpensively and individually: A Global Pass that also includes countries such as Sweden, Finland or Denmark also makes it possible to experience the rest of Northern Europe from Norway.

For tourists

Tickets to travel Europe are always valid only for people who have not registered their first residence in the countries traveled. A Dane, for example, cannot travel through his northern neighboring countries with such a ticket, but a German, Austrian or Frenchman can. This is equally true in the reverse case, as the railroad offers such tickets for vacationers in any European country.

Those with children can take one child between the ages of five and 15 for free as part of a Familiy Card; infants, of course, are not chargeable anyway.

The Global Pass makes Europe small and opens up the possibility of wonderful rail journeys and wonderful vacations even in the face of eternal ice. So why wait?

Individually tailored

The ticket is valid either consecutively or individually, depending on the booking. Consecutive means that the ticket must be used for about five days in a row, whereas inndividual means that there can be days between the use – depending on how the vacation is planned.

The different offers are valid for five (of 15), seven (of one month) or ten and 15 (of one month) days. It is also possible to book 15, 22 or 30 consecutive days: This should ultimately be enough to travel through the vast and high northern part of Europe.
